Morning Leg/Back Warm Ups – Part 4

Here is part 4 of this morning warm up series.

When you co-ordinate your mental intention, your breathe with the physical action, then you have realĀ  power.

So remember to breath correctly while doing all your yoga poses.

This video teaches a great way to practice synchronizing your breath with movement.

Yoga & the Organic Body, Morning Leg Warm up Part 4

This pose is great for the abs, back and legs. There is a lot of attention to detail that is needed to do this yoga pose properly. Practice along with this video for several days in a row to really get it. After that be sure to refer to the video from time to time as a refresher. Remember – daily yoga practice!

Thanks for sharing this article. I am a Massage Therapist and I have believed in the importance of physical activity. I now have some research to back my rationale to implement at least 20 minutes per day of aerobic activity. I am going to search for some supplemental to jogging, jump ropes and kids aerobic dance dvd’s so that I advise my clients to try incorporating exercise as a lifelong habit! I love the ideas of using stationary bikes, dance dance revolution type games etc. Thanks so much for your blog.

As a fellow yoga teacher let me express my heart felt appreciation of your teaching. I work in sw france teaching to troisieme age people presenting lots of bad backs and low upper body strength. I really do think your work is delivered with great sensitivity and knowledge and I will certainly use your ideas in my own developing teaching.Thanks
